About Yves Gassler

Yves Gassler is a partner at AKD who specialises in real estate and tax. The clients he advises on the tax treatment of real estate transactions include national and international investors, developers, financial institutions, enterprises, housing associations and public authorities. Over the past ten years, Yves started to focus on the development of future-proof houses. For many years, he combined his work as a tax lawyer and real estate attorney-at-law at several professional service providers with an academic career at the University of Leiden. In 2006, Yves obtained a doctorate with a thesis on the taxation of real estate transactions.
